They were all stripped down I guess most of them planned to sleep in just their undies. The older guys had camped out their places to sleep. Watson was sitting in an armchair in the corner. We went into the main room and took up seats around the room while the previews for `Hot Shots!' started. 'Dad said to let you know we've started the movie. We were playing cards by lantern light, when my friend's older brother opened the door. We brought pizza, chips, and sodas plus some other snacks for later. 'How'd ya think.' His brother responded shoving him out of the way.Īs the younger bunch, we had to eat and sleep on the closed in porch while the older guys and Mr. 'How'd ya go swimming without suits?' my friend asked. Found a pretty cool rock slide-water fall upstream and went swimming.' One of the guys responded. It was turning dusk by the time they returned, shirtless and wet.
The older guys had gone off to the stream after the `men's' work was completed. Once the chores were completed he took us out back to teach us about the `wilderness' around us. Thankfully it had electricity but no running water except for the toilette. After we unloaded the vans of our supplies, my friend's dad had us younger guys straighten up the two room cabin and setup our sleeping pads on the enclosed back porch.
